On death anniversary of Feroz Khan

New delhi 27-04-2019,(sunil kumar ,VNI) Feroz Khan, Indian actor and director (born Sept. 25, 1939, Bangalore, Karnataka —died  on April 27, 2009.He  was a popular cine star  , but he was best remembered as a heroic action star in a series of Bollywood “curry westerns” that earned him comparisons to American actor Clint Eastwood. Khan, He, came to Mumbai as a youth to pursue an acting career. His first film  was   Didi (1960) and had small roles in several movies, including the Hollywood film Tarzan Goes to India (1962), before getting   success with  film Oonche log and  Arzoo (both 1965). He received a Filmfare Awards nomination for best supporting actor for Aadmi aur insaan (1969) and another nomination for International Crook (1974). Khan  was producer and director of popular  films,   Dharmatma(1975), Qurbani (1980); Janbaaz (1986); Dayavan (1988); and Janasheen (2003). His last role was in Welcome (2007). Khan received Filmfare (2000) and Zee Cine (2008) lifetime achievement awards.
