New Delhi (VNI) 21 July FIFA World Cup 2026 concluded with Spain lifting the coveted FIFA World Cup Trophy after defeating Argentina 1-0 in the final. While Spain celebrated its second World Cup title, the tournament also recognised the world's finest performers with prestigious honours such as the Golden Ball, Golden Boot, Golden Glove, Best Young Player Award and the FIFA Fair Play Trophy. The 2026 edition was historic in many ways as it became the biggest FIFA World Cup ever, featuring 48 teams, 104 matches, and three host nations—the United States, Canada and Mexico.
