Her talent and contribution earned her several prestigious honours, including the Padma Shri, Tansen Samman, Academy Samman, and Shikhar Samman. Through her performances, she brought the depth and spiritual richness of Dhrupad to audiences and inspired generations of music lovers. Asgari Bai remained a respected figure in Indian classical music until her death on 9 August 2006.
