Nargis Dutt

New delhi 03-05-2019, (sunil kumar ,VNI) Nargis Dutt^[; (1 June 1929 – 3 May 1981)Regarded as one of the best  actresses in the history of Hindi cinema, she made her I st appearance in films   at the age of 5 with Talash-E-Haq (1935) .

In a career that spanned three decades, Nargis appeared in many popular  films, many of which featured her alongside actor Raj Kapoor. Her best-known role was that  Mother India (1957), a performance that won her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. . Some of her films of this period include the drama Raat Aur Din (1967), for which she received the inaugural National Film Award for Best Actress.Her other well known films were,shri 420,barsat,chori chori,jogan ,aag,andaz etc.

Nargis not only contributed  to films.She also played important role in field of social work,politics

Nargis still remains role model for many youngsters  even today.
