Born as Haribhai Jariwala on 9 July 1938 in Surat, he later became one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated actors. He had a unique ability to bring diverse characters to life, capturing the essence of each role with authenticity. His talent allowed him to seamlessly transition across genres, from romantic dramas to intense thrillers, making him a true gem of Hindi cinema.

In films like Andaz, Aandhi, and Koshish, Sanjeev Kumar delivered powerful performances that left an indelible mark on audiences. His portrayals were often of the common man, yet he brought a distinct touch to each role that made his characters unforgettable.
