Counting of votes...in Bihar will take longer than any other assembly election counting

Counting of votes to 243 assembly seats in Bihar will take longer than any other assembly election counting, the Election Commission said during its mid-day briefing on Tuesday. As the number of electors in a booth was limited to adhere to the social distancing guidelines, the number of booths and EVMs has gone up. Counting, too, is being held at 55 locations this year, maintaining social distancing. One crore votes have so far been counted, the commission has said.
