New Delhi 28 Nov. (VNI) Krishna Chandra Dey, popularly known as K.C., was a versatile Indian music director, composer, musician, singer, actor and music teacher born on 24 August 1893 in Calcutta. His immense contribution to the Indian music and film industry in the 20th century has earned him respect in the history of Indian cinema. Day’s passion for music has not faded. His passion and talent have not only enabled him to excel in many roles in the music industry, but have also inspired many artists. He is remembered as the first music teacher of legendary composer S.D. Burman, who went on to become one of the most celebrated names in the Indian music industry.
