Amid the efforts to curb COVID-19, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that the schools in the national capital won't reopen for now.
The schools in Delhi have been closed since the first COVID-19 induced lockdown in March. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on October 4 had announced that schools and colleges will remain closed for students till October 31.
While several restrictions have been eased in different phases of ‘unlock’, educational institutions continue to remain closed. However, as per "unlock" phase guidelines, states can take a call about reopening schools in phases.
