New Parliament House will witness the sunrise of self-reliant India - PM

New Delhi, May 28 (VNI) Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today embarked on a significant milestone in the history of India as he inaugurated the new Parliament House and in his first speech he said that  in new parliament house  is temple of democrac, New Parliament House will witness the sunrise of self-reliant India-.In the ceremony, PM installeded the revered "Sengol" in the presence of eminent religious leaders from diverse faiths, alongside  cabinet ministers, CM of varIous states, members of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and saints and scholars. Although many prominent opposition parties boycotted the event as they were of the opinion that president should inaugrate the event but many opposition leaders  also attended the event  This momentous occasion also witnessed the Sarvdharma prayer, where interfaith religious leaders including  Jain Muni Acharya Lokeshji rendered  Navkar Mantra,  and imparting a message of non-violence and peace through his profound Ojaswi Vani, and interpreted jain philosphy
Attending the event were notable figures such as Speaker of Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh and many other prominent guests  such as Ex president  Ram Nath Kovid and Ex PM HD Devegowda and many other prominent guests. Shri  Modi emphasized that every nation's journey towards development encompasses everlasting moments. The date, May 28, 2023, marked one such auspicious occasion, as the new Parliament House symbolized the fulfillment of the dreams cherished by India's freedom fighters.
PM Modi stated that the new structure would serve as a catalyst for a self-reliant India, witnessing the realization of a prosperous and developed nation. He highlighted the importance of treading new paths to create new paradigms, noting that New India had set its sights on fresh objectives. 
Eminent Jainacharya Dr. Lokeshji, the visionary behind Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and Vishwa Shanti Kendra, expressed his profound pride in participating in the inauguration ceremony of "New Parliament House." During the event, he recited the Navkar Mahamantra, Mangal Path, the profound principles of Non-Violence, Anekant, and Aparigraha, rooted in Lord Mahavir's teachings. Acharya Lokeshji extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the entire Jain community, including the Shwetambar and Digambar sects, for establishing Dharma Dand and Raj Dand within the new Parliament House.
Alongwith Jainism, representatives of various faiths delivered prayers, encompassing Buddhism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism,, Judaism, as well as recitations from the Gita, Quran Sharif, Guru Granth Sahib, and Shabad Kirtan Neelakashi  Rjakhova of Bahi Sect also rendered bahai prayer, creating a harmonious and inclusive atmosphere.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, the Indian Postal Stamp and Ministry of Finance released a currency coin of Rs 75  as celebrations . Sharing their perspectives, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Shri Harivansh addressed the audience. Additionally, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Mr. Harivansh, conveyed messages from Her Excellency President Mrs. Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar, adding to the significance of the event.
