New Delhi 26 June 2025 (VNI)The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is observed every year on 26 June. Established by the United Nations in 1989, the day aims to strengthen global action and cooperation to combat drug misuse and illegal trafficking. It raises awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and promotes a drug-free society through education, prevention, and international support.
