Released to a thunderous response, the film amassed an astonishing ₹529.45 crore within just four days of its release, setting a new benchmark in Indian cinema. From its premiere to Day 4, the film's earnings have soared with ₹10.65 crore on premiere night, followed by ₹164.25 crore on Day 1, ₹93.8 crore on Day 2, ₹119.25 crore on Day 3, and a whopping ₹141.5 crore on Day 4, according to media reports
By achieving this milestone, Pushpa 2 has dethroned Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which earned ₹525.7 crore, and secured the ninth spot in the list of Indian cinema's all-time top-grossing films. This phenomenal streak places the film on a trajectory to challenge and potentially surpass titans like Pathan, Jawan, Kalki 2898 AD, KGF 2, and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
Notably, Pushpa 2 has already outpaced the week-one collections of major blockbusters, including Kalki 2898 AD (₹414.85 crore), RRR (₹477.5 crore), and KGF 2 (₹523.75 crore). By Day 5, it is projected to eclipse Baahubali 2’s first-week figure of ₹539 crore.
The film’s success is not just confined to the south; it has emerged as the highest-grossing south film in Hindi for week one, with ₹285 crore in four days, surpassing Baahubali 2 (₹247 crore) and KGF 2 (₹268.63 crore).
