Shah Rukh Khan's Highly Anticipated Film 'Dunki' Confirmed for December Release

Mumbai, 16 Sep, (VNI)  SRK's  admirers are in for an unforgettable year, and so is the actor himself. The journey commenced with "Pathaan," and the fervor surrounding Shah Rukh Khan persists with "Jawan," culminating in yet another spectacular project to conclude the year. During the press conference of "Jawan" in Mumbai on Friday, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed the December release of his upcoming venture, "Dunki." The gathering was convened to commemorate the resounding triumph of "Jawan." Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Atlee, and the rest of the cast graced the event with their presence. Shah Rukh Khan expressed, "I believe, Mashallah, we've been blessed. We started with Republic Day (January 26). It's an auspicious day. On Janmashtami, we unveiled 'Jawan.' On Christmas, we'll introduce 'Dunki' to you. I give precedence to national unity. And whenever my film hits the screens, it aligns with Eid. I'm putting in the effort. I'm working even harder than I have in the past 29 years. And God willing, I will persist. It brings me joy when people find happiness in watching movies."

In "Dunki," Shah Rukh Khan will step into the shoes of an army officer. A reliable source from the media revealed the actor's tremendous enthusiasm to don the uniform once more. "SRK is genuinely thrilled to don the uniform again. In fact, if you pay attention to the announcement video, there are subtle hints from his fatigue pants to his green t-shirt. It's a look that military personnel adopt while on the move or at rest," the source commented.

"Dunki" signifies the maiden collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. When unveiling the project, the actor expressed, "Dear @hirani.rajkumar sir, You've turned out to be my Santa Claus. You kick things off, and I'll make sure to arrive on time.
