Srinivasa Ramanujam Died: 26 April 1920, Kumbakonam. Srinivasa Ramanujan FRS was an Indian mathematician who lived during the British Rule in India. Though he had almost no formal training in pure mathematics, he made substantial contributions to mathematics .
