The date is historically significant because almost all Indian Presidents took oath on July 25 even without any written rule about it. The four Presidents who are exceptions to this trend are- Rajendra Prasad, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Zakir Husain and Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed.
