Raj Kapoor the greatest showman

New delhi, 08 MAY (sunil kumar/VNI) “THERE IS NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOWBUSINESS “ He was  the father of Indian films.  The original superstar of the movie industry in India, he was the person the rest of the film industry  looks up to as far as becoming a successful actor goes.  He left a firm legacy and established a family tradition in the film industry, with several of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren following in his footsteps. He  made over 70 films in his lifetime, many of which were considered ground breaking at the time and some of the music of his films is still popular today.  Raj Kapoor  was the pioneer  of hindi films ,the torch bearer of hindi films ,many film makers just followed him to be successful  .

 Raj Kapoor will always remain the original and greatest showman of Indian cinema. In a span of almost 50 years, he had an illustrious career both in front and behind the camera. He won three National Awards, 11 Filmfare trophies, Padma Bhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Honours.
